Video production is a lengthy process and involves more than just shooting the video.  You will need to ensure that you have the right lights and microphone system.  If you are planning to use your video for promotion of your business, you will need a green screen.  This equipment, which is just a sample of what you need, can get expensive quickly.

Your biggest investment won’t necessarily be in dollars; it will come in the form of your time.  Most of us don’t have a lot of time to spare, as our days are filled with work, family and daily activities.  If you are going to handle your own video production, be aware that the editing process is very time consuming.  It takes hours and hours to edit a video into a high quality end product.
