Fairfax Video Studio And The NFLPA Team Up To Reach Football Fans With A Message
Fairfax Video Studio packed up and traveled to the National Football League Player Association (NFLPA) offices in Washington DC today in order to help the league’s players get the message out: they have finalized their collective bargaining agreement and are ready to get back on the field in time for pre-season training. As the NFLPA representatives and other players wrapped up their labor negotiations work, they took the time to sit down with the staff at Fairfax Video Studio to send personal messages about the lockout and the coming season to their friends, family, and fans. Many expressed their relief that the longest work stoppage in NFL history was coming to an end and many were grateful that they were able to resolve a number of issues that were important to players. Almost all players shared their joy at being able to return to work and the game that they love.
The NFL lockout began in March – and it has been a frustrating and difficult process for both athletes and owners to agree on new rules and policies, including a new revenue split, a new rookie wage system, new player safety regulations, and improved benefits for retired players.
While the NFL team owners were able to voice their side of the issue on national television broadcasts and in the mainstream media, many pro-football players found that they didn’t have an outlet to talk about their concerns and express their opinions. During the lockout, some discovered that they could get their message by utilizing professional video studios and publishing clips on the web. At Fairfax Video Studio, we have been proud to help these athletes get their voices heard on this issue since the lockout began.
