Helping Non-Profits With Online Video
Jazmin Villavicencio flew in from Phoenix, Arizona to shoot video at the Fairfax Video Studio. Jazmin is from an indian reservation and she had also never been in front of a camera before. With the help of the Fairfax Video Studio, Jazmin pulled it off like a pro.
Jazmin had a medical condition growing up that caused her to have seizures; it was difficult for her to live a normal life. With the help of her doctors, her condition is manageable now, and she has been inspired by those who have helped her to become a doctor herself. With the help of the Summer Medical and Dental Education Program, she was able to get help in difficult science classes and find money to pay for school. The SMDEP is a free summer program that helps disadvantaged college freshmen and sophomores get access to education. She is encouraging other native americans in need of support to apply and participate if they are thinking about becoming a doctor or a dentist.
"Jazmin did a wonderful job in front of the camera and her story is truly inspiring," says Jim Folliard of the Fairfax Video Studio. Check out her video below.
