Use Video Effectively This Holiday Season

The holidays are no time to slack off in your video web marketing . We know it’s a busy time, but think about what you are spending your time doing – shopping online.  And how many other people will be doing the same thing?  A LOT.  The stores always see a surge in retail sales during the holidays.  More people are logging onto the Internet with their credit card in hand to do some shopping.  If you have something to sell, you need to be prepared.  The first thing you need to do is make web videos !  Here are some tips for using web video in the month of December.

  • Themes – Go ahead and be corny!  People love Christmas themes so put on your Santa hat and create a video.  Tie in all the great things about Christmas that make people feel warm and fuzzy.  People are feeling anxious about getting the right gifts, so make sure to include a convincing call to action.
  • Regularity – Your plan of attack should include articles and videos on a daily basis, or at least a few times a week.  Choose a niche and blast them with deals, savings, calls to action – all throughout the video.  Make sure it’s on YouTube also!
  • Try to go viral - It’s everyone’s dream to go viral on YouTube.  It’s not easy to do, but give it a shot by asking your employees to get creative, write a song or use some cool animation.  Oh, and people love babies and puppies, too.

The big companies go all out in December.  If you want to compete, give this holiday season your best shot by producing professional and effective videos .  Give the Fairfax Video Studio a call today at 877.477.STUDIO.
