Gearshift TV Covers the Capitol File After Party

DC's Gearshift TV covered Capitol File magazine's 6th Annual After Party following the 2011 White House Correspondents' Association dinner, presented by Bing and The Creative Coalition. After a successful dinner featuring a jovial, confident President Obama roasting both the "birther" movement and Donald Trump, the Capitol File after party rounded out a spectacular evening.

The after party was hosted by Chairman and Niche Media founder Jason Binn, Capitol File's publisher Susan Schaffer, and editor-in-chief Kate Bennett. The after party welcomed special guests, beltway favorites, global dignitaries, members of royal families, and A-list celebrities from The Creative Coalition, a nonprofit, nonpartisan social and public advocacy organization of the arts and entertainment community.

The event was held in the beautiful atrium of the landmark Ronald Reagan Building. Celebrity attendees included David Arquette, Patricia Arquette, Omar Epps, Alyssa Milano, Bridget Moynahan, Jeremy Piven, K.D. Lang, Jack McBrayer, Cheryl Hines and Chris Colfer.

Guests got to preview car manufacturer Infiniti's new QX SUV and the G Coupe. Party goers were treated to specialty cocktails from The Charmer Sunbelt Group, featuring such drinks as the "Bingtini," the "Oval Office" and the "Recession Proof." They were also sent home with delectable Crumbs cupcakes. All in all a great time was had by everyone, and it was yet another job well done by Gearshift TV and the Fairfax Video Studio crew.
